O trio de moças faz um show bem agridoce, com seus instrumentos acústicos, e uma delas deixa a harpa para empunhar o violão para tocar uma canção que ela mesma tinha apresentado meses antes durante a turnê europeia do pai. E, de repente, aparece da plateia o próprio pai empunhando o violão para acompanhar a filha em “Between Two Points”. Davi Gilmour, ex-guitarrista do Pink Floyd, causou tumulto no pub em meados de junho.
Foi o ápice da apresentação do trio Marshall Gilmour Webbs, que tem Romany Gilmour, filha mais nova do guitarrista, como harpista e vocalista. E eis que David Gilmour, espremido no acanhado palco do pub, solta que lançara novos produtos em setembro.
Os fãs ansiosos finalmente já sabem o que vão desfrutar daqui a dois meses: lançamentos ao vivo em CD, streaming e vídeo – Blu-Ray e DVD, mas também em plataformas de vídeo, que chegam em 17 de setembro.
“Live at the Circus Maximus, Rome” foi registra Roma, capital da Itália, durante a turnê “Luck and Strange”, o nome do mais recente álbum, eme 2024. A exibição nos cinemas e salas IMAX está agendada para 17 de setembro de 2025, em sessões limitadas mundialmente.
A versão ao vivo de “Sorrow” foi liberada como prévia – é uma canção do álbum “A Momentary Lapse of Reason”, do Pink Floyd, de 1987. A canção também estará no lançamento o áudio do álbum “The Luck and Strange Concerts”, em versões 2 CDs ou 4 LPs, com 23 faixas gravadas em diferentes shows da turnê e mesclando faixas de Luck and Strange com clássicos de sua carreira solo e também do Pink Floyd,
Curiosamente, neste século Gilmour tem mais lançamentos ao vivo do que álbuns comm músicas inéditas – todos os DVDs são maravilhosos, mas ainda assim é uma distorção estranha em uma carreira tão versátil e importante. Entre os lançamentos ao vivo dele estão “Live in Gdansk”, “Live at Pompeii” e “Remember That Night”, gravado em Londres, na Inglaterra.
